PortalU is managed by the Coordination Center PortalU at the Environmental, Energy and Climate Protection Ministry of Lower Saxony, Hannover, Germany. Development and maintenance of the portal is financed by a administrative agreement between the German Federal States (Länder) and the Federal Government.
